Jenn enters each therapeutic interaction with compassion, curiosity, a non-judgemental attitude, and openness. Jenn seeks to hear her clients' stories and to walk alongside them through challenging or painful situations She strives to provide healing and care to the entire person, as opposed to focusing solely on reducing symptoms.
Jenn is skilled in supporting individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, emotional regulation, life stress, and difficulties in interpersonal relationships. Jenn has developed a specialized skill set in providing compassion care for those clients navigating trauma and post-traumatic stress disorder. Jenn is trained in the gold standard of trauma work, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing.
Jenn uses her knowledge of a variety of methodologies to build an individualized support plan for each client. Depending on therapy goals, Jenn pulls from her training and experience in Emotion-Focused Family Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, parts-based approaches, and Polyvagal Theory.
