Dr. Katherine Henderson

Dr. Henderson has been a registered psychologist with the College of Psychologists since 2001, obtaining her Ph.D. from York University in 2000. She is the Co-Founder and Co-Director of Anchor Psychological services.  Prior to establishing her private practice, Dr. Henderson was Clinical Director and Lead for Research and Program Evaluation for the Regional Eating Disorders program for children and youth at the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO) for ten years.

Dr Henderson has trained and provided clinical supervision to numerous emerging psychologists, psychotherapists, social workers and health care professionals.  She is an adjunct research professor at Carleton University and continues to be active in co-leading provincial and national research projects.

Together with Dr. Shari Mayman and Dr. Adele Lafrance, Dr. Henderson published "Emotion-Focused Family Therapy: A Transdiagnostic Model for Caregiver-Focused Interventions" (2020).
