Annette believes that therapy is a brave act of kindness you give to yourself when facing life’s many challenges. She is committed to helping clients find hope with a non-judgmental and collaborative approach that puts the client’s needs first. Annette strives to ensure that clients feel secure in sharing their story.
Annette draws on her diverse background to support those who are facing major life transitions, noticing uncomfortable patterns of behaviour, struggling with relationships or experiencing depression and/or anxiety. She is experienced with emotional neglect, bullying, adult diagnosis of ADHD, and financial stress.
Annette uses a variety of therapeutic approaches including attachment theory, mindfulness, motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioural theory and boundary setting that allow clients to develop tools that will help them navigate complicated feelings and situations.
