During your counselling journey, our Juniper team seeks to be warm, responsive, and intentional about moving you toward wellness. We tailor care to each individual client and their unique concerns and experiences. Our therapists draw upon clients’ inner wisdom and strengths, as well as empirically-supported therapies, when providing services. Above all else, it is most important to us that you feel heard, understood, validated and safe. We believe these are the essential components of care in a helpful counselling experience, leading to good therapy outcomes.
Our services
Juniper provides psychotherapy to teens, adults and parents. Our therapists have extensive training and experience treating symptoms of anxiety, depression and various kinds of stress, for example, work, school, relationships, health and parenting. In addition, each of our therapists have their own unique training and experience in their areas of specialization, including, but not limited to, trauma, panic, hair pulling/skin picking, obsessive compulsive disorder, grief, and disordered eating.
Our team
Juniper is comprised of a dynamic team of therapists who share a passion for providing counselling services that empower clients to become their best version of themselves. All of our clinicians are registered professionals with unique expertise and a range of experience in the field of mental health. Juniper therapists participate in ongoing professional development and experiential learning opportunities. Additionally, our therapists engage in ongoing clinical supervision and consultation.
Our space
Juniper provides a safe and relaxing atmosphere for all clients. We are located on a quiet street with reserved and free parking. Our space includes comfortable seating, cozy textiles, and access to our kitchenette. We invite you to help yourself to coffee, tea or infused water, as well as the wifi connection, while waiting for your appointment. There is also fresh baking from time to time. Please make yourself at home.
